Capitol Beer Fest wants you to be safe and comfortable at the event. Please take advantage of our recommendations below for transportation, parking, and lodging.
Transportation:
- SacRT, Ride Light Rail for FREE with a drop off and pick up just outside of our fence line! Find more info here. See the flyer here. You’ll need to have the flyer with you or on your phone when you board the train.
- FREE Bike Valet provided by Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates.
- Lyft or Uber are always a convenient option.
- Taxi Cab companies will be well aware of the crowd at Capitol Beer Fest and happy to take your fare.
- Capitol Corridor is the most convenient way to travel from outside of the Sacramento region. Check out the schedule. There are several stations between San Jose and Sacramento/Auburn running multiple trips a day.
Parking:
- DOCO West Garage is offering $5 parking from 11 am – 4 pm. Only 1,000 spots available. The address is 325 L Street and the most convenient place to park, just a couple of blocks from the main gate!
- The City of Sacramento has several lots close to the Capitol Beer Fest gates!
- Tower Bridge Garage at Neasham Circle in Old Sacramento, Capitol Garage at 10th & L St, Old Sacramento Garage at 2nd & I St

- Street parking in downtown. Find a spot near your favorite pub for a post-Beerfest meetup.
